Yes. The cardholder must contact their PEX Card administrator to activate the card. This lets the administrator know that the card has been received and is ready for funding.
Additional funds can be added to a PEX Visa Card by an administrator through our secure administrative site. Moving funds from the PEX Card Account to a PEX Visa Card is instantaneous.
If you need to take unused money back from a card, you can always transfer funds back to your PEX Card Account. Or, if you need to take unused money back from your PEX Card Account you can
always transfer funds back to your bank account. Your money is always yours until purchases are made or fees are charged.

Acceptance of the PEX Visa Card is customizable to suit the needs of each business. Businesses can choose to restrict card spending by balance, merchant category, dollar amount per day, or
both. If you choose not to create spend limits, the PEX Visa Card can be used wherever Visa debit cards are accepted.
The PEX Card Service is for businesses only. Funds on deposit in the PEX Card Account are owned by the business and intended for business spending only.
An authorized officer is able create unique user accounts for administrators assigned to manage the card program. The website allows for the creation and termination of cards, card profile
updates, spend rule edits, funding transfers and business reporting.

No. The PEX Visa Card is not a credit card. There is no credit check required to apply for the card and PEX Card does not extend credit to its business customers.
